Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 29, 2026. Mongoose Inkboard is a product of Mongoose Labs, operated by Mongoose Athanor LLC ("we," "us," or "our").

What Inkboard is

Mongoose Inkboard is a drawing app that runs entirely in your browser. There is no account, no sign-in, and nothing you draw, type, or place on the page is ever sent to us or stored on our servers.

What we don't collect

We don't collect your artwork, the images you place on the canvas, any text you type, or any personal information through the app itself. Nothing about your session is transmitted to Mongoose Labs or any third party by this app.

What is saved, and where

Inkboard autosaves your pages in your browser's own storage (IndexedDB), so a page is still there when you come back: the drawing itself (every stroke, so it can be replayed), any images you placed on it, its title, and a small preview picture for the sketchbook list. It also remembers small preferences (your last tool, brush size and colours) in the browser's local storage. All of it stays on your device. It is never sent to us or anyone else, and we can not see or recover it. Clearing your browser's site data deletes it, and you can delete any page yourself from the Sketchbook.

Standard web server logs

Like any website, the server that delivers this page (Cloudflare, our hosting provider) logs standard technical request data (IP address, timestamp, user agent) for security and abuse prevention, on the same terms as the rest of the internet. We don't use this for tracking or analytics. Our host may measure aggregate, cookieless page-performance statistics (Cloudflare Web Analytics: how fast pages load, with no cookies and no profile of you).

Exporting your work

When you export an image (PNG, JPG, WebP), a vector SVG, a timelapse video, or save a page file, that file is generated and downloaded directly by your browser. It never passes through our servers. The timelapse video is recorded in your browser too.

Children's privacy

Inkboard collects no personal information from anyone, including children, through normal use.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes -- for example, if we add real account/cloud-save features later -- we'll update this page and its effective date.
